Ileyah is a modern housing solution that provides individuals and families with comfortable, flexible, and stress-free living spaces across Africa. The goal of this mobile application is to digitalize and simplify the experience of discovering, booking, and managing short-let apartments or rental homes directly from a smartphone.

Technical Details

Tech Stack

The Ileyah app will be built using Flutter for the mobile interface, Node.js for the backend, PostgreSQL for data storage, and AWS S3 for hosting images and files.

High-Level Architecture

The mobile app communicates with the backend server through APIs, which retrieve and store data in the database, manage images through cloud storage, and handle payments via a secure payment gateway.

Database Structure

Data is organized in structured tables like Users, Listings, Bookings, and Payments, with each table connected to ensure accurate relationships between hosts, tenants, apartments, and transactions.

API Endpoints

The backend uses REST API routes like login, register, create listings, make bookings, and verify payments to allow the app to send and receive data securely and efficiently.
